Some of the things mentioned in this policy (like the Route feature) are not yet implemented on the site, but are mentioned because it is anticipated that they will be. Anything we describe as part of the site however, is currently part of the site.

Personal data collected, Site data set, And why
Purchases
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address and email address. You will receive confirmation emails and we may contact you as necessary to ensure quality service.
Account
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
After you supply your email address you will be included in our mailing lists. These include marketing and special update emails. You may opt-out of various types of emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We plan to add some account customization features to make this easier.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies
When you visit this site, cookies will be set to prevent from showing you notices that have already been shown to you.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year (unless you delete them from your browser).
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

We record and analyze some browsing behavior on this site to optimize our services or detect abuse.
reCAPTCHA v3 and reCAPTCHA v2 are used at various locations on this site to detect bots. Your use and interaction with them are subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
When you use this site, your IP address may be logged, along with the username and success details of login attempts as an additional security measure.
When you follow certain links to our site (for example, when you click on a ProHemp ad), analytics pixels or URIs are used to tell us where you came from. Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How we handle your data
Form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If you purchase the Route shipping protection add-on, Route will receive your shipment details, which you can follow on the Route app. Refer to the Route Privacy Policy.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Your shopping history will affect the communications you receive. For example, a discount may be offered to all customers who purchased a certain product in the past. You may also receive emails about your cart if you leave items in it.
We aggregate browsing behavior on this site in Google Analytics, which means Google has access to it. However, because this data is aggregated, Google does not keep any personally identifiable information there. If interested, refer to the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
Certain ProHEMP employees can review site activity and user data on an individual level to address technical, billing, or similar issues. Data may be processed in external applications, but all personal information remains protected and strictly confidential. All ProHEMP employees are also bound by non-disclosure agreements, which extend to customer data.
How long we retain your data
Order details are preserved indefinitely for administrative and legal purposes.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Other things, like cart details and form submissions, are not automatically deleted, but can be erased from our servers if necessary. We are not liable for losses or damages resulting from accidentally lost data; see the Terms of Service.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How we protect your data
Ensuring the highest standards of security is an especially high priority for buyprohemp.com. This website is secured via TLS 1.2. We limit privileges and have patched all known vulnerabilities. Further, we are actively building out more of our features to comply with a strict content security policy, which will reduce the likelihood that undiscovered vulnerabilities are capable of compromising anything. There are several other security measures not described here; partly for the slim benefits of obscurity, but mostly because they’re unnecessary details that will probably change.
Buyprohemp.com has never suffered a data breach, but we are still doing everything we reasonably can to prevent one. If and when there is a data breach, we will inform all users, rather than keeping it a secret, so they can take the necessary steps to protect themselves and prevent further damage.
Although you are not permitted to run penetration tests on this site without permission (and might automatically get blocked if you do), if you identify any kind of vulnerability, we would love to know about it.
